Rare Victorian Trimwork Finial

This marvelously aged finial has its original white, very weathered paint. It sits on a pink and cream-washed base for a dash of color. This finial is Sold.

Finals and More

This is a visual diary of items I create or repurpose for my little LeFinials business. I have two inspirations for this work. One is my fascination with architectural elements from the past. The other is my love of color.

Combining the two, I collect antique finials and architectural elements as well as vintage furniture for repurposing as decorative items for use today, extending their use and people's appreciation of these wonderful old treasures.

For me, the color and techniques involved in the finishing are most important. I appreciate the palettes coming out of Europe today, as well as those from America's own heritage.
